Just Be

FOR TODAY...September 26th from Me

Outside my window.. a cool breeze with night falling upon us


I am thinking... I have a lot to do around my house & I have not done anything today. I have laundry that needs to be done, my storage room HAS got to be cleaned & de-cluttered, I need to dust, vacuum, sweep & mop my house. And I'm Not doing any of them tonight.

I am thankful for...inspired church leaders that know just what I need to hear & a kind & gentle Savior who is ready to help lead & guide my paths.

I am wearing... my purple pj's

I am remembering... how precious these years that I have with my children, while they are still children & want to be in the same room with me. I know that won't last very long.

I am going... to bed very soon. . . (sigh)

I am reading... The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society

I am hoping...to get started on my Christmas shopping this next paycheck, you know it's officially under 3 months now, I know, don't hate me for it, but, it's true

From the kitchen...delicious fall soups, stews & chili, I need to make homemade bread, I love the smell of my kitchen in the fall

Around the house... a stillness as night comes on & my children slowly fall asleep, all is well with the world

One of my favorite things~ lazy Saturday's where we don't have go anywhere or do anything, but just be, so important. All too often, I forget that. . . Just Be!
