Parker & Walmart

I just have to take a minute & post a funny little thing that happened last night in Walmart. So, Clayn has decided that we are going to be a camping family. Yeah, I know, anyone that really knows me, knows that I am NOT a camper! But, he thinks he can change me. So, last night we ran to get some camping supplies for us to go next week, and the week after, and the week after, and the week after, OK so you get the idea! And you think I'm joking, and I"m really NOT! Anyway, we were in the camping area of course, and Parker was completely bored with being there. I had him in a cart & Clayn & Tess had their own. I went to go down a different isle & Park got mad & said only in the way that he can "No Mom, no go down here, take me down the damn toys." And of course me being the brilliant mom that I am said, "What did you say?" Oh, yeah, little Miss Brains, let's have him repeat himself, and of course he did. So, I told him that we don't say that word. And I told him that we were going to look at a baseball hat for him and a alarm clock. Park says, " No Mom, No damn hats & No damn clocks, just damn toys!" I am not joking you, I almost laughed, and afterwards I totally did. Clayn says that I can blame no one but my self & he is right. Whenever I need for them to pick up toys, & after I have asked them to clean them up after a billion times, I tell them to pick up their damn toys or I"m going to throw them away! I know what you are thinking, that this is the nicest mom EVER! And I know, I know I do deserve the "Mother of the Year" Award! So now we have a swearing jar & whenever I swear I have to put money in it. So today I said, "Oh, my Word!" Tess just knew that I had swore & tried to tell me that I had to put money in. She'll definitely keep me on my toes! So, I've got to be better, so I don't have Parker telling the kids in the nursery to pick up the damn toys, who knows maybe he already has. Look at what I'm teaching to the ward nursery! It's a good thing that's not my calling! We can all breathe that I'm not having that type of influence on the other little darlings in the ward!
