St George or Bust

On Aug 4th, we headed to St George to stay at my aunt Shelley's & Clayn's parents were meeting us & taking the kids to Las Vegas to stay in Circus Circus for 3 days.  The kids just finished swimming lessons that morning & we came home & got them showered.  The car was already packed & we got on our way.  We were having a great trip, until we hit Provo, exactly at the University Parkway Exit, the car started chugging & we hurried & got off & chugged into Walmart.  We turned the car off & we thought it had died.  To make a long story shorter, we ended up taking the car to Larry H Miller & they fixed it, & we were on the road 24 hours later.  So, we got us a hotel, which was tricky, seems that not only was it EFY that weekend, but it was also, some big outdoor sports expo.  The hotels were all booked, from Lehi to Spanish Fork.  Luckily we got into one, through a cancellation.  Even though it took us longer to get to St George at least by a day, the kids still had fun.

Us waiting to hear from the car dealership to tell us that the car was ready!  Come On Already!!

Finally dinner in St George at a In n Out.  The kids loved the hats.

Ahh, the view from Shelley's, isn't it gorgeous!

Parker testing out the waters.

After a long trip, we decided to get stuff for the kids to have banana splits, they loved them.  Of course they are no banana splits without the cherry on top.

Then a little bit of swimming at 10:00 at night.  But, Please, we have waited all day, is all that we had heard.

The kids getting ready to go with Grandpa & Grandma Lambert to Vegas.
The day before we had taken them to the movies, Tess & I went & saw Monte Carlo which was very cute. And Parker & Clayn went & saw Kung Fu Panda 2.  The day that we dropped them off was on Monday.  That day, we went back to Shelley's & Clayn read all day & I slept.
That night we went to the Pizza Factory with Shelley & then we went to Tuacan & saw The Little Mermaid.  It was so Cute!  I loved it.  The next day Clayn & I headed to Vegas, he had gotten us a room there for the night.  And since he had never been to Vegas before we thought that this would be a great time without the kids.

The minute we got out of the car, it was so hot, I thought we were going to die.

I loved this statue of liberty at New York New York.  She was made of all jelly beans.
