Really . . . .

I really can't believe that it has been almost a month since I have posted anything.  Life surely does get crazy and time is gone too fast.  This past week Clayn went to a conference in Nashville.  He left Sunday the March 6th & got home at 1:00 am on Sunday March 13th.  It was a very good conference for him.  He loved it & it just reconfirmed to him that technology is what he wants to get his PhD in.  He was also, able to see his sister Eryn & her 6 kids.  We have not seen the last 3 of them.  Clayn was so taken by Emma & Amy.  It was so cute to hear him talk about them.  We have not seen Eryn in 7 years.  Her husband is in the military & they travel all over the place.  But, Clayn, had a great time.

Me on the other hand, I was CRAZY!  I had a sick little girl the beginning of the week, & I had preschool here, & I had New Beginnings on Wednesday night for our Young Women's.  It all turned out great.  My sister came & stayed with me for 2 days, which helped me out a ton.  And, my cute aunt Allyson spoke at New Beginnings & did an amazing job! She totally came through & helped me & basically saved me.  I have been in the middle of getting 2 new counselors, so that has been nuts also.  Then Allyson's daughter Paige sang the theme song for the year "We Believe."  Oh my heck, it was so pretty.  It turned out amazing, thanks to a ton of help.  Then, on Thursday, Allyson & Tad (same aunt) they live in Blackfoot.  She came & picked up me & the kids.  Tess did not have school on Friday, and we stayed with them until Saturday.  The kids ran & played. They had so much fun with their air hockey & fuse ball table.  Allyson & I played with her Cricut (which I must add, I WANT one!).  We had a great time & got out of the house.  Which I'm sure if we would have had to stay here the rest of the time, I would have gone crazy!  Allyson, totally saved the week for me!  Thanks a ton, Al!

My good friend Libby, is starting a little book club with a few ladies that she works with & we had so much fun, we had a super yummy dinner.  And our first book is my Potato Peel Pie Society.  I love that book!  So fun to have a girls night out & talk & laugh & enjoy good food!

Tess got the staring role in the school play.  They do the Magic Tree House with Jack & Annie.  Well, they drew out names last Thursday & Tess gets to be Annie!  She is so excited & we are very excited for her.  She will do a great job!

Parker has kindergarten registration coming up here in about 2 weeks & he is very anxious to get started in kindergarten.  This will be a totally new adventure for him & me.  I will be home alone.  At first I thought YEAH!  And now, I"m not sure, I will miss my little buddy here at home.  I will definitely have a clean house for a while each day.

I am starting a cooking blog with my family.  I will post the info here when it's fully up & going.  I think this will be a fun adventure for me.  I need a little bit of excitement going on in my life.  I have been quite BLAH!  I really need Spring.  I have got some tulips coming up, that makes me so happy!

I can't wait to see the cooking blog! I want to find some recipes that are yummy and super healthy as well as the "special" meals. You look so busy too. I just called back into Young Womens and it is so busy but great!
