Spring Break

This has been quite the week. We got Parker's tonsil's taken out on Monday & the poor little guy has really had a rough go with it. The medicine has been very strong & he has been throwing up all week. It makes me hurt just thinking about having tonsils removed & stitches in your throat & throwing up. Hopefully he will heal faster.

This nurse was so cute with Parker. He was quite concerned with what she was doing to him.

He thought this was pretty cool!

He was not HAPPY about having to change out of his new super hero pajamas into a clown night gown. He had been crying!
He was very nervous about going in. When he woke up Monday morning it was about 7:10. I was putting on my make up & he says "Mom, it's still night time, it's not time to go yet." I told him that we had to be there at 8:00, in a few minutes & I kept putting on my mascara, when I looked over at him, he was crying. It honestly made me so sad. He had tears running down his face & he told me how nervous he was. Poor little guy! And he's still having a hard time with it.

Just right before they took him back.
Bless His Little Heart!
We Love You, Park! You will start feeling better soon, I Promise!

Then on Wednesday we got carpet in the up stairs & I have been so excited it's not even funny! I love it! There is such a difference between hard wood that is 86 years old & brand new soft clean beautiful carpet! Here are a few pictures. On Friday Clayn is going to lay laminate flooring in the sun room. I'll post pictures later. Exciting things going on!

So here's a couple picture of the before, our 85 year old pine floors. They were splitting & we were all getting splinters in our feet. For some reason, we didn't qualify that as FUN! (go figure)

And After Tah Dah Carpet!!!

Just look at how pretty it is! We Love it!

Okay, I know about the splinters and all, but I am sad to see that beautiful wood go. (;

I hope your baby feels better. It's tough on the whole family when someone is hurting.

I can relate to Parker's anxiety before surgery. Not fun. Glad he's got it behind him.
The house looks nice. Happy for you!
