My Boy

Oh, this boy of mine. Parker is such a funny kid. He is very unique & definitely himself. He is very full of life & mischief. I have been told that I definitely want him this way. A very strong willed boy, rather than a little push over. OK, whatever, I will take their word for it.
Well, this strong, tough, little boy that I have is scared to death of getting his hair cut. So, we have just been using Clayn's clippers & doing it here. Well, needless to say, I thought that I would do it the other night. Let's just say, that it did not work out so well. The blind should not be cutting hair. It was not good, so, when we went to my mom's this past week. Cortney, my brother, got my dad's clippers & shaved Park's head. He screamed & cried & then when I showed him in the mirror; he cried & told me that he hated it. Cort told him that he now fit in with all of the Jones boys, all bald. He still isn't very happy with is. He gets up in the mornings & tells me that his hair is growing. I just tell him that he looks tough & cool.
I have prided myself, in not ever really buzzing his head, I really don't like it. And I feel like it's not attractive for little boys; (just my own opinion). So, finally at age 4, Parker got his first buzz, by accident. I'm so SORRY, Parker! I promise never to try to cut your hair again.

Just one funny story about Parker, that I thought was so cute. The other day, while Tess was at school, we were talking about names & middle names. He went through & was saying each of our full names. He came to Tess & asked if she had a middle name, I told him "No."
He was not OK with her not having a middle name. He looks at me & says, "I know, her middle name will be Diamond." Oh, really Diamond. Then he says, "I will call her Tess Diamond Lambert." BEAUTIFUL! We have laughed over this. He is quite the Parker!
We sure do Love him & I am thankful that he is a little toughy!
