Happy September!

There is nothing like a crisp fall morning. I love sleeping with my window open, so I can feel the coolness in the air as I wake up. I love Everything about Fall! For those that truly know me, knows, that for me there is no better time than right now. I don't know why I LOVE it as much as I do, maybe it's because my birthday is in October. And might I add that October has always been my favorite month of the year, & no not just because of my birthday, but because, of Fall. October is the one full month of fall that we get. There is nothing more beautiful to me than the changing leaves. The colors are brilliant & gorgeous. The reds, oranges, golds & greens.

I get excited inside just thinking about it. I love having a 2 crock pots going, one with some yummy soup or stew & then the other one with apple cider, ready for enjoyment through out the day. Having football on, & just being in the moment. I really do love football. I always have. I grew up in a family with 3 brothers & they & my dad always watched it. When I lived in Provo, 3 years in a row, I had season tickets to BYU football. Talk about good memories. Getting ready to go, in my jeans, boots & cute sweater & a couple of blankets. Going & sitting outside in the crisp air, being surrounded by those beautiful mountains, drinking hot cocoa & actually cheering for a winning team. Then afterwards, a lot of times, going up the canyon for a cook out. Oh, such good memories. I also, loved going up to Sundance, & seeing Peter Brienholt (One of my favorite musicians) would play every year up there, & I think that I went every year that I lived in Provo. And even one year, when Tess was just a baby, & my mom watched her & Clayn & I got tickets & drove to Provo & saw him there. Such fun times were had by all.

Now with having kids, I love to take them on hikes up the canyons, & go on long drives to see the leaves. To have them experience this magical time of year. I love to take them & let them pick out pumpkins &, carve them. Raking leaves & letting them jump in them. Buying new coats, & sweaters. Oh, I love Sweaters! There is nothing like a new fall one, I love any & all from Eddie Bauer. Maybe one day, I will be able to once again, get my sweaters from Eddie. I love them!

Well, I could go on & on, about all of the wonderful things there are about the fall, but I think that I shall quit now with all of my ramblings. I'm just so Giddy. I LOVE IT!!!!
