Last night for the first time in about 4 months, we had a real night out, I mean dinner & a movie. We did hit a movie earlier on in the week. WOW! Now, that I think about it, 2 movies in 1 week; that truly never happens for us. Monday was our anniversary & Jen my great neighbor, watched the kids while we went to a matinee. We saw The Proposal, with Sandra Bullock & Ryan Reynolds, I loved it! So, So, So, Cute! Clayn liked it,but not loved it like I did. So, anyways, last night, we got a babysitter. While Clayn went to go & get her, I was in the kitchen, making my children a very gourmet dinner (Totino's Pizza, Cheese & Pepperoni, & Berry Blue Hawaiian Punch), I told you fancy!!! A side note, if you don't know this about me, there is no limits to how fancy, I can be.
No Really!
So, sorry, I keep on getting side tracked; I had the kids come in the kitchen, & I was giving them the "babysitter lecture" "Now, you guys need to be good, & mind her & eat all of your delicious dinner, because I have so much time & effort into this!" OK, I told them that they needed to go to bed without giving her a hard time. Well, Parker, thought that I was telling him that he had to go to bed then, at 4:30. I explained to him that Daddy & I were going on a date. Parker started laughing, & making the kissing sound & said, "Oh, Mom then you will kiss; You know True loves Kiss!" Oh, Parker has been watching way too much Enchanted. What a funny kid! Then, he & Tess were making the kissing sound & laughing. Good! Everything that I just said to you went out the window, & taking it's place kissing! Oh, Kids!!
We did have a great night, we had dinner at Texas Roadhouse & then we went & saw Harry, Oh, I loved it, I thought that it was the Harry yet! So, fun! It's just good to be able to go out & not have kids yelling & fighting, & yanking on you while we're eating! Oh, sure, they are great & they make life worth while, but it's sure nice to get away for a few hours, & be REAL People!
