Last night for dinner Clayn made a beef & broccoli that he put some red peppers, & pineapple into with sauce & we had it over rice. It was very good. The flavor of the sauce was strong, though. As we were eating, Clayn said, the sauce on this is a little S T R O N G, he is spelling it out, so the kids wouldn't here & try not to eat. So Tess, proceeds to come over & whisper in my ear, that she is going to spell, so dad won't know what she is saying, she sits back down & says, "Oh, Yeah, well, I think that it is C A T S A T H A T." With her little head bobbing with attitude. Clayn looks at me & says, "Oh, really Cat, Sat, Hat. I guess that she really told me."

I remember when our oldest two started "reading" our spelled words. It changed our lives. Dang kids. Ruin all of our best tricks!
