The Gingerbread House

Last year, we decided to start a new tradition, that we would do a Gingerbread House, before Christmas every year as a family. So, we purchased the kit & put it together on Sunday after church. The kids were so excited, that's all I heard about from the time we got home from church. "Now, Mom, can we do the house?" "Please, Mom!" So, after dinner was done, then we got started. Clayn puts the house together, the foundation. . .

Then comes all of the decorating & we all take turns doing different parts.

Parker doing a little jig!

Mom, very intense outlining the windows & door.

And the wreath, I was a little worried, how it would turn out, but I think it turned out very cute!

Our finished product. A house fit for a Gingerbread Family!

Resting after all of the hard work.

Park was really exhausted from the work he put in & thought I made a great foot rest!
What a kid! We had a fun time together as a family, listening to Christmas music & making our little house. What a fun tradition!
