I went to see Twilight this weekend, & I was very excited to see this. I've read the books, at least once, Twilight, I've read twice. I LOVED the Book! However, as far as the movie goes, it did not satisfy me. It was like going to a very nice expensive dinner & coming out thinking that it really wasn't worth it. The beginning of it was AWFUL! I hated when she went into class the first time. I thought the acting was not good! It was very awkward! I felt like there was too much silence at first. I think that there should have been more back ground music. I thought that the special effects with him flying, were a bit much. Jasper, was just plain FREAKY And, Jacob, what can I say not good, I really didn't like him. ! When they went to Port Angeles, I felt like that was also, a let down, them having dinner for the first time together was supposed to be longer & more intense, the waitress was supposed to be hot, & she had some funky Star Trek hair, WHATEVER! However, after about that point for me , it did get a bit better. The high light of the movie was the baseball game, I thought that was done well. The fight was pretty good. Overall, it was just Ok, I might give it a C plus. I think that all the hype building up to it, made it out to be more. I feel like by the middle of the movie, they knew what they were doing, but up to that point it seemed a bit amateur. I'm sure that many of you will read this & disagree & that's OK, because, if it was all that and a bag of chips for you, then great! It just wasn't for me. I really hope that the next one, is done better.

I came out thinking they had done a pretty good job, but what got me the most is that it has been a while since I have read the book before seeing the movie--I think the last time I did that was the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. I usually HATE the movies after having read the book. This time though, I thought they did a pretty good line of keeping with the story line (that is probably attributed to Stephanie Meyer being so involved with the movie). However, I kind of felt disappointed the whole time because I knew what was going to happen. You know? Anyway, Drew and I laughed A LOT throughout the movie because our theater was FULL of teenage girls. It was hilarious to hear them laugh, and ohh and ahh. It was hilarious. PS--you are darling in the picture you took the night you went to see the movie--so hip and very cute!
