Tea Party

Yesterday was our last day of preschool until the fall and I did a little tea party for the girls. I made little ham & cheese sandwiches, that I cut into flowers, I bought some fancy little muffins, and butterfly cookies. We had lemonade to drink. I read them Fancy Nancy, which every little girl loves & them I taught them about table manners, we ate & then before they left, I gave them each a little bag with rings & bracelets and hair clips & treats. They thought they were so cool. I made them little tea pot invitations & asked them to wear a dress & hat. I feel like it was a real success! Parker on the other hand, was not impressed, he stayed here & he thought it was all a bunch of nonsense! He's going through this phase, where everything is his and every sentence begins with NO! "No, My House!" "No, My Mom!" And this is what he did through the party with the girls, luckily they are all around him enough to know how he is! So, other than Park & his protest, it went well & I think that the girls had a great time!

My cute table, I went & bought some decorations, to make it up to par for Fancy Nancy!

My Cute Tess, already for the shin-dig with her hat on!
The cute girls, we;re at the age where fake smiles are very "IN," I tried to get some real one's this is as close as they came. I still think they are darling!

Sitting around the table, admiring every one else's out fits!

Tess testing out the "Tea," aka - lemonade ato see if it meets her standards!
