Lunch with Libby

On Wednesday, my good friend Libby came over for lunch with her new twins. It was their first outing to my place. So, I made a yummy lunch; chicken salad croissants, fresh fruit, a slushy drink, and a lemon bundt cake. (Recipes will follow) I have to say, that it was very good, both the company and the food. Little Gavin & Gracie are darling & it was fun to sit & hold them & remember how precious & sweet babies are when they are that tiny.

Then my 2, Tess & Parker, running around screaming over who gets to hold the bubbles, and then Park drinks the bubbles, and Tess is screaming freaking out, while Park is burping bubbles. That is what was going on while I was cuddling with the sweet babies, sitting there thinking, "Yes, mine were this sweet at one time also." Then thinking, "Watch out Libby your time will come when Gavin is drinking bubbles & Grace is screaming at him." It's funny how that happens!

After lunch, we watched Juno! Holy Cow! Talk about Funny! My Mom, didn't like it she thought it was crude, and I suppose it was. But, that doesn't change the fact that I still thought that it was a fresh, new idea & funny! The lingo they use in it is great! She is cool is a nerdy sorta way & same with cute little Bleeker (Her Guy). And, all in all, it really was a touching movies about teenage pregnancy & adoption. Libby & I both really liked it! "That ain't no etch-a-sketch. This is one doodle that can't be un-did, homeskillet." So Funny! Just makes me laugh! And as she says Bleeker," He is the cheese to my macaroni ." What more can be said, it was very romantic!
